Lote Tree Leaves for Removing Magic, Envy, and Evil Eyes

Lote Tree is a vigorous grower and has rapidly - developing taproot.It may be a bushy shrub 4 to 6 feet ( 1,2 - 1,8 M ) or wide spreading with gracefully drooping branches and downy, zigzag branchlets, thornless or set with short, sharp straight or hooked spines.It smells like wet grass.

The tree has various different names depending on the country such as :

• English name is called " Lote Tree "
• Indonesian name is called " Bidara or Widara "
• Arabic name is called " Sidr "
• French name is called " Jujubier "
• Philipine name is called " Manzana or Manzanita "
• Malaysian name is called " Bedara "
• Indian name is called " Ber "
• Scientific name is called " zizipus Spina - Christi "

Lote tree may refer to 

• Sidrat al - Muntaha, the tree that marks the end of the seventh heaven, the boundary where no creation can pass and beyond which is the throne of Allah, according to Islamic Beliefs.
• The European tree " Celtis Australis " also called Nettle Tree.

Ibn Hajar mentioned about the using of Lote tree leaves in the issues of magic, envy, and evil eyes. He reported on the authority of Wahb Ibn Munabbih that " One should take seven green leaves of the lote tree, crush them between two stones, mix them with water then recite over this mixture the verse of  Al Kursi ( Qur'an 2 : 255 ), the last three chapters of the Qur'an  ( Qur'an 112, 113 & 114 ) and chapter  Al  - Kafirun ( Qur'an 109 ), then blow into water after that take three sips from it and wash the body with the rest and He will ( Allah Willing ) fully recover." To remove magic can also recite mu'wadaitain that is surah Al - Falaq, surah An - Nas and surah Kursi then blowing into the mixture (seven lote tree leaves has been crushed and water).It can be used for drinking or bathing.The way to vanish jinn and satan that do not want to be out from body by submerging in the bathtub for ten minutes but firstly drinking it. It can be done for seven days that it is powerful method for naughty jinns.

It is also a remedy or good treatment for the man who cannot have sexual intercourse with his wife ( because of magic, envy or evil eyes ) .Syaykh ' Abdul Rahman Ibn Hasan also mentioned this and expressed his approval of it.


The ways to make it :

1. Grinding seven lote tree leaves plus a little water.

2. Putting in a glass for drinking.

3. Putting in a pail for bathing or pouring in the bathtub.

Lote tree is mentioned in the qur'an  as follows :

• Surah al - Saba ( Qur'an 34 : 16 ).
• Surah al - Waqiah ( The Event ) Qur'an 56 : 28.
• Surah al - Najm ( The Star  ) Qur'an 53 : 13 - 16.
