Rumput Teki (Cyperus rotundus) is a perennial plant, that may reach a height of up to 140 cm (55 inches).The word "cyperus" derives from the Greek, kyperos, and "rotundus" is from latin, meaning round.The names "nut grass and nut sedge" are derived from its tubers, that somewhat resemble nuts.It is actually a field weed known in all the southern states as nut grass.The plant produces rhizomes, tubers, basal bulb, and fibrous roots below ground and rosettes of leaves, scapes, and umbels above ground.
